Labs Overview

Three Specialised Labs

Constructor Knowledge Labs (CKL) is a newly established research institute based in Bremen, Germany, dedicated to advancing applied research in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

CKL’s research activities aim at leveraging cutting-edge CS methodologies and ML models across a wide range of interdisciplinary domains, including Robotics, the Metaverse, Neurosciences, Neuropsychology, Education and Learning, and Life Sciences.

CKL maintains a close partnership with Constructor University, collaborating on joint research projects. The institute offers a dynamic and innovative environment where joint PhD students and researchers can engage in impactful, applied research in the fields.

CCL develop platforms and products that deliver exceptional efficiency, reliability, security, and performance across virtualization, storage, system software, and development tools. Our research addresses emerging challenges in generative AI, robotics, and metapresence, while advancing cybersecurity solutions for AI threats, privacy protection, and regulatory compliance.

CSL apply next-generation computing and AI to solve critical scientific and industrial challenges. Our work advances quantum, photonic, and neuromorphic computing architectures, alongside quantum networks and sensors for next-level communication and detection capabilities. Through software-first approaches including control systems, error correction, and applications – we translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable, real-world implementations.
